Adams County Sheriff’s Department looking for video of shots fired near 12th and Hamann Lane

QUINCY — Adams County Sheriff Tony Grootens is asking to speak with people with information about a shots fired report from early Monday morning.

Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched at approximately 12:03 a.m. Monday, April 8, to the 1200 block of Hamann Lane for a report of shots fired. Deputies eventually located a residence in the area that had been struck by gunfire.  Physical evidence was collected from the scene. The investigation is ongoing.  

Investigators are asking anyone who lives in the area with possible doorbell camera or video footage to contact the sheriff’s office at 217-217-2205.
