Barry man facing battery, armed violence chrges after arrest following Saturday stabbing incident

BARRY, Ill. — A Barry man is in the Pike County Jail facing aggravated battery and armed violence charges.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched at 7:06 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, to a residence in the 1000 block of Mortimer Street in Barry regarding a stabbing incident.  It was reported the victim had left the scene and was being transported by a private vehicle to Illini Community Hospital.  

After an investigation, law enforcement officials arrested Joshua W. Logsdon, 37, of Barry. Logsdon was arrested without incident, transported, and lodged in the Pike County Jail.
