Barry man pleads guilty to child pornography, sentenced to six years in prison
PITTSFIELD, Ill. — A Barry man pled guilty to two counts of child pornography on March 26 and was sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Judge Frank McCartney sentenced Brandon L. Frame, 33, received three years in prison on each count to be served consecutively, according to a press release from the Pike County Sheriff’s Department. Frame must register as a sex offender upon his release from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
The case started in February 2024 when Chief Deputy Zack Orr received information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation of a suspect potentially having child pornography.
Orr and Illinois State Police Special Agent Jordan Gerard met Feb. 15 with Frame at his residence in Barry. After an investigation, Frame was found to have several photographs and videos of children under the age of 13 years old engaged in various sexual acts.
Frame was charged with 10 counts of child pornography. Eight of those counts were dismissed as part of the plea negotiations with the Pike County State’s Attorney’s Office.
