Bowling Green, Mo., woman dies in crash on Illinois 106 on Saturday night
BARRY, Ill. — A Bowling Green, Mo., woman is dead after a crash on Illinois 106 on Saturday night.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single unit vehicle crash on Illinois 106, east of Barry, at 8:50 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle was traveling eastbound when it left the road and rolled over.
The driver of the vehicle, Makenzy McLaughlin, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield by Pike County EMS with minor injuries.
Assisting at the scene was the Barry Fire Department, Pike County EMS and the Illinois State Police.
