Bowling Green woman killed in crash with ambulance on U.S. 61 near New London

NEW LONDON, Mo. — A Bowling Green, Mo., woman was killed in a crash Tuesday night between an ambulance and a SUV on U.S. 61 near New London.

A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol shows Terri Rucker, 47, was driving a 2010 Dodge Journey northbound in the southbound lane of U.S. 61 and crashed head-on into an ambulance with the Van-Far Ambulance District. Rucker was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:06 p.m.

The ambulance was driven by Leslie Dahl of Farber, and Jason Bostic of Troy was a passenger. Both were seriously injured and flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia.
