Candidates file for city, county school boards as well as JWCC Board

QUINCY — Four candidates are looking to fill two open seats on the John Wood Community College Board of Trustees.

Andrew Sprague is the lone incumbent among the four seeking seeks in the April 1 consolidated general election. Former Adams County Board Chairman Kent Snider, who will officially leave his position on the board Nov. 30, filed his petitions along with Christopher Adam Holtschlag and Elizabeth Weas Cash.

Three people are running for seats on the Quincy 172 School Board, five for the Mendon CUSD #4 School Board, two for the Camp Point CUSD #3 School Board, five for the Liberty CUSD #1 School Board and four for the Payson CUSD #1 School Board. They are listed below.
