Canton man and two juveniles arrested for mob action, aggravated battery
QUINCY – Quincy Police arrested three people on the city’s north side Tuesday afternoon after a fight broke out.
Just after 12:30 p.m., officers with the Quincy Police Department and Adams County EMS responded to a fight in progress involving numerous subjects at 200 North 8th. When officers arrived, they located a 42-year-old victim who had been shoved over a railing and fell approximately 20 feet. The victim was transported to Blessing Hospital by Adams County EMS for treatment of moderate, non-life threatening injuries.
Officers located one adult male suspect, Phillip Orange, 40 of Canton, Mo., and two juvenile suspects on the scene and they were taken into custody.
Orange was lodged in the Adams County Jail and the two juvenile suspects were lodged in the Adams County Detention Center on charges of Mob Action and Aggravated Battery.
