Car damaged in Tuesday night fire in cinder block garage

QUINCY — A car sustained damage to the rear bumper and trunk area during a structure fire in a two-car detached cinder block garage on Tuesday night.
The Quincy Fire Department was dispatched at 11:41 p.m. to a general alarm fire at 816 N. 24th. The first crew arrived on the scene in three minutes and reported a car on fire in the garage. They deployed a hose line and quickly extinguished the fire, which was confined to the rear of the car.
