Casting Crowns concert scheduled for Saturday moved to March 29
QUINCY — The death of John Barry Hall, the father of Casting Crowns lead singer Mark Hall, on Tuesday has forced the Casting Crowns concert scheduled for Saturday, March 2 to be rescheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, March 29, at the Morrison Theater in Quincy Junior High School.
All tickets for the March 2 show will be valid for the new date. However, if ticketholders can’t attend the show on March 29, they will be offered a full refund. Ticketholders can contact WGCA at 217-224-9422 with questions and to obtain refunds.
“We here at The Mix hope that everyone will join us in praying for Mark and his family as they deal with this loss,” WGCA Executive Director Bob Daly said in a press release. “We are looking forward to Casting Crowns joining us on March 29 so that we can show our support and love for them in person.”
Casting Crowns released this statement from Mark Hall:
“(Tuesday) morning my hero, my dad, John Barry Hall passed away. He was at home with his family, and now he’s home with Jesus. I was so blessed to be his caregiver along with my mom and sister this past year, and we were able to have so many sweet moments with him. We will have his graveside service this Saturday. I’m so sorry that we have to postpone this week’s concerts. I know you all understand, but I also understand all the hard work and planning that go into these events as well as planning and excitement of families that were planning to be with us. My team is working on rescheduling the dates while I am with my family.”
