Chambersburg man facing drug charges after traffic stop in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Ill. — A Chambersburg man is in the Pike County Jail on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop in Pittsfield.

Chief Deputy Zack Orr with the Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a white 2001 Chevrolet truck at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 6 in the 1000 block of West Washington in Pittsfield.  

After an investigation, the driver, Brian Keith Hamm, 56, was arrested on the following charges:

  • Unlawful possession of methamphetamine less than five grams,
  • Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • DUI (any amount of drug),
  • Driving while license suspended,
  • Improper use of registration,
  • Unlawful possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle (driver).

Brian was arrested without incident. The Pittsfield Police Department assisted with the investigation.
