City of Quincy to hold Town Hall meeting on Essential Air Service

QUINCY REGIONAL AIRPORT

Three airlines submitted bids to the United States Department of Transportation for the Essential Air Service (EAS) program at Quincy Regional Airport. The DOT has asked the City to submit a recommendation for the bid that best fits the community’s needs by June 11. The Aeronautics Committee will be hosting a town hall meeting to allow each airline to present their proposals and answer questions from the public and City officials.

That town hall meeting will be on Tuesday, May 18 at 4:30 p.m. at Quincy City Hall.

The vote for the recommendation is scheduled for the regular Aeronautics Committee Meeting on June 2.
