Culver-Stockton College signs teach-out agreement with Fontbonne University

CANTON, Mo. — Culver-Stockton College recently signed a teach-out agreement with Fontbonne University, a private university in St. Louis that will close at the end of the summer of 2025.

The contract offers Fontbonne students a seamless transfer process to Culver-Stockton College to finish their studies. Additional information regarding this agreement, links to applications and to request more information about C-SC can be found at www.culver.edu/fontbonne.

As a teach-out institution, Culver-Stockton College will accept all credits and grades earned by Fontbonne students and offer an equal out-of-pocket for tuition and fees that were paid to attend the university. Students who choose to transfer to C-SC will be eligible for the full range of scholarships, waivers or administrative deductions that are available for enrolled students at Culver-Stockton College. 

“Culver-Stockton College is pleased to accept Fontbonne students into our academic programs both on campus and online,” Culver-Stockton College President Lauren Schellenberger said in a press release. “Our admission advisors will work individually with each student to help them coordinate their transfer process as smoothly as possible. We look forward to welcoming Fontbonne students to our campus community and are confident they will be successful in pursuing their educational goals on “the Hill.”
