Curryville man arrested after allegedly threatening to kill someone with firearm
EWING, Mo. — A Curryville man is in the Lewis County Jail after threatening to kill someone with a firearm.
A victim reported to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department on Nov. 14 that Dylan Burnett, 21, had come to a residence in Ewing and made threats to kill the victim with a firearm. After more investigation, it was learned that this was the third time Burnett had allegedly made threats to kill the victim.
Burnett was arrested on one count of harassment in the first degree, a class E felony. He was lodged in the Lewis County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond. During a Nov. 26 bond hearing, Burnett was placed on house arrest and ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device. Bond was reduced to $5,000, and Burnett paid 10 percent and was released.
