MENDON, Ill. — Country music acts Diamond Rio and Sawyer Brown band will take the stage on Saturday, July 27 at this year’s Adams County Fair.

Diamond Rio became a household name on the country music scene in 1991 with the release of “Meet in The Middle.” It became the first country music group in history at that time to reach No. 1 with a debut single.

The band also is known for their multi-week chart-topper “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” crossover hit “One More Day,” as well as timeless hits “Beautiful Mess,” “Unbelievable” and “I Believe.”  The Diamond Rio is a member of the Grand Ole Opry. It has won six Vocal Group of the Year Awards (four CMA and two ACM), received 14 Grammy nominations and won a Grammy Award for its album, “The Reason.”

Sawyer Brown has earned its place as one of the premier live acts in country music by performing more than 6,000 shows and releasing 23 albums. It has a multitude of CMA, ACM, and CMT awards. Described as “the Rolling Stones of Country Music,” the band boasts well-known hits like “Some Girls Do,” “The Race is On” and “Thank God for You.”

Entry into grandstand seating for the concert is free with adult admission to the fair that evening. To get closer to the stage, track seat tickets will be sold beginning in June.
