Driver injured in crash on North 24th when vehicle goes off road and overturns

QUINCY — A Quincy woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on North 24^th Street on Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a crash on North 24^th Street north of Weiss Lane. A 2015 GMC driven by Becky Hartley, 60, was traveling south on North 24^th when it left the west side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned. 

Hartley was extracted from the vehicle and transported to Blessing Hospital by EMS to be treated for her injuries. A juvenile passenger exited the vehicle and was transported by private vehicle to a medical facility for precautionary reasons.

The Quincy Fire Department, Tri-Township Fire Department, Illinois State Police and Adams County EMS assisted on the scene.
