Early voting underway in Illinois
QUINCY — September 29 is the start of early voting in Illinois.
The Adams County Clerk’s Office will be open from 8:30am until 4:30pm, Monday through Friday (except for Holidays) for any voter who would like to vote early. The office will offer Saturday early voting on October 29 and November 5 between the hours of 8:30am and 12:00pm (noon).
“Early voting is a safe and convenient way to cast your ballot. We offer reserved voter parking on the 5th street side of the courthouse to help make the process as smooth as possible for the voters” said Ryan Niekamp, Adams County Clerk and Recorder. “I encourage everyone to visit the Clerk’s website (www.adamscountyil.gov) to find the specimen ballot to see everything that will be on their official ballot when they vote.”
Requested vote by mail ballots will be mailed today, September 29, 2022 and the last day to request a vote by mail ballot is November 3, 2022.
The last day for early voting will be Monday, November 7, 2022. Election Day for the 2022 General Election is Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
