QUINCY — The Quincy Exchange Club, along with many local sponsors, is displaying its Field of Honor this weekend.

The club is honoring veterans and first responders with 1,000 full-size American flags on display at the former location of St. Mary’s Hospital on Broadway between 14th and 16th Streets. The flags are organized in rows and columns 10 feet apart. Club members will be on site during the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 9 to set the flags, and the display will be available for visitors until the flags are taken down starting at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12.

Visitors are asked to park on Vermont. Club officials say visitors should feel free to walk anywhere on the property to take photos.

A replica of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier also will be available for viewing, along with presentation of the history of the tomb.
