Four men arrested Tuesday as part of narcotics detail coordinated by Quincy Police Department

QUINCY — Four men were arrested Tuesday, June 20 by the Quincy Police Department in a narcotics detail as part of a coordinated effort with the Illinois State Police, Adams County Sheriff’s Department, Springfield Illinois Police Department and West Central Illinois Task Force.

The narcotics detail was aimed at targeting the possession and distribution of narcotics in Quincy and Adams County. The detail provided an increased number of police officers patrolling the city.

During the detail, the following people were arrested:

  • Phillip C. Mayfield of Quincy for a federal warrant for delivery of methamphetamine more than 50 grams.
  • Patrick D. Lambert of Quincy for an Adams County warrant FTA – escape
  • Banner R. Keith of Springfield was arrested by the Springfield Police Department for an Adams County warrant for FTA – possession of methamphetamine
  • Austin J. Embry of Quincy, who was wanted by the Quincy Police Department for retail theft over $300.
