Free tai chi classes held twice a week at Quincy Senior Center

QUINCY — Free tai chi classes are held Tuesday and Thursday mornings on the first floor of the Quincy Senior Center, 639 York. 

A new class starts at 9 a.m. Nov. 9, and a seated tai chi class for less mobile people follows at 10:30 a.m.

Tai chi helps with balance, strength, memory improvement and stress reduction — and it’s a nice place to meet new friends.
