Friday means Blues in Downtown Quincy
You can start tapping your toes as early 11:30 as if you’d like on Friday’s in Quincy.
Noon Blues presented by HomeBank kicks off the music in Washington Park. Gerry Lunt plays at 11:30 a.m. and Steve Rees at 12:30 p.m. Pack a lunch or grab something to go from one of the The District’s restaurants and have a picnic with local live music.
Melton Concessions will be set up at 11 a.m. to serve kettle corn, corn dogs, funnel cakes, hot cheese pretzels, shakeups and more
Kent Burnside is performing in the Washington Park gazebo for the evening show, which begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m.
Butcher Block will be serving up grilled goodies and you can wash it down with cold drinks from Refreshment Services Pepsi. Kohl Wholesale will also have its food court set up.
And of course, stop by The Liquor Booth and pick up your favorite adult beverages to bring along.
