Fundraiser for Quincy Public Library set for Saturday night at State Theater
QUINCY — The Mary Weems Barton Quincy Public Library foundation will be the host of the Libations for the Library dueling bartender fundraising event at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21 at the State Theater.
The evening will consist of drinks, food and a friendly competition as bartenders from The Patio Restaurant and Lounge (Ahmed Williams) and Cole’s Hearth Room Restaurant (Coltin Cole) battle for the title of “Libations for the Library Bartender” in three rounds of competition.
The evening will have live music by Logan Kammerer, a silent auction and an informational exhibit on the Quincy Public Library’s mobile library project.
