ADAMS COUNTY Ill. — The Great River Economic Development Foundation has introduced the Quincy’s Calling Recruitment Bonus Program. Staying true to its foundational mission, this initiative serves as a catalyst to attract new talent, foster economic growth and grow the local workforce and community.

This Quincy’s Calling Recruitment Bonus Program empowers current residents to take an active role in growing their community by referring individuals and families who are interested in relocating to Adams County to live and work.

“We know the best promoters of Adams County are the residents who have chosen to call it home,” said Kyle Moore, president of the Great River Economic Development Foundation, in a press release. “Promoting our community could look different for everyone; it could be on a call to an old friend telling them about the newest business coming to town, it can be a parent sending a career opportunity to their recent college graduate or an old classmate showing off the new buildings on campus. To encourage this effort, GREDF is now offering a recruitment bonus for those who assist us in bringing newcomers to the area.”

As part of this innovative program, residents who successfully complete the Quincy’s Calling Lead Form, and their individual or family relocates to the area and secures employment within Adams County will be eligible for an incentive of up to $500.

After an Adams County resident submits the name of an individual or family they think would be interested in relocating to Adams County, the GREDF team will connect with the newcomer to provide them with information regarding the community and resources to locate housing and employment opportunities, ensuring their transition into the community is as smooth as possible. Once the newcomer relocates, the GREDF team will work with both the Adams County resident and the qualified participant to confirm the move.

Program Highlights:

  • Eligibility: Open to all current Adams County residents.
  • Incentive Amount: Up to $500 for a successful referral.
  • Criteria: Adams County residents must complete the Quincy Calling Lead Form.

Individuals or families have two years from the submission date to relocate and begin work in Adams County. The program is first-come, first-served and limited to 10 families.

This initiative is part of a broader economic development strategy to address local labor shortages, enhance the quality of life and sustain long-term growth in Adams County.
