HAMILTON, Ill. — The “No Doubter” is back.

Killian Todd of Hamilton is back in the USA Mullet Championships online competition this summer. Todd reached the final 100 participants in last year’s event.

People vote online for their favorite mullets. Each vote cast will count towards the overall score of the contestant. Each donation made on behalf of the contestant of your choice to Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors, a charity that helps provide homes for our wounded veterans, will also be contributed to the overall score of that contestant.

A panel of judges will critique each mullet based on length, style, uniqueness and showmanship. At the end of the contest, the culmination of the three aspects of the contest will determine the winner. Will it be the one with the most votes, the biggest donation, or the most impressive mullet?

Scott Salvadore of Stillwater, Okla., won the USA Mullet Championship last year for the second year in a row.

Todd entered the competition last year in the age 9-12 division, naming his mullet “The No Doubter.”

“Everyone tells me that there is no doubt it’s one of the best,” Todd wrote on his profile on the contest website. “So this year I’ve entered the contest with high intentions of winning. Last year may have been all fun and games, but this year I have my eyes set on the prize.

“My mullet started as a joke to win a bet with my cousin. Eventually he cut his off and I won. My mullet ended up becoming a big thing with me, and I never cut it off. That’s how I got here. The only contest my mullet has won is the contest that started it all, but this year I’m hoping to add the USA Mullet Championship to the list.”

Registration for the event closes at 11:59 p.m. on July 7.

The first round will take place July 10-17. Round 2 will take place July 24-30. Round 3 will take place Aug. 14-21. The winners will be announced Aug. 28. There are three kids (0-4, 5-7 and 8-12) divisions, as well as a teen division (13-17) and an adult division (older than 18).

This year’s winners will receive a Mullet Champ belt, a GoPro HERO12 Black Action Camera and a cash prize.

Todd is competing in the teen division. You can vote for him beginning July 10
