Hannibal Middle School student removed from school grounds after bringing BB gun to school
HANNIBAL, Mo. — A student at Hannibal Middle School was removed from school grounds Thursday morning after bringing a BB gun to school.
Hannibal Public School officials notified the Hannibal Police Department School Resource Officer at approximately 8:08 a.m. about the gun. The gun was recovered, and the juvenile was transported to the 10th Circuit Juvenile Office.
Lt. Jennifer Grote with the Hannibal Police Department said none of the schools were delayed or on lockdown Thursday because of the BB gun incident.
