Harpole’s Heartland Lodge expanding lodging options with addition of Quail Ridge Cabin
NEBO, Ill. — Harpole’s Heartland Lodge recently acquired a new lodging option for guests to enjoy — the Quail Ridge Cabin.
This quintessential cabin is a few miles from the main resort on a quiet, dead-end road. It sits atop a beautiful knob overlooking gently rolling meadows, agriculture fields and forest. It offers four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, large dining room and outdoor sitting area with a picturesque view.
In a press release, Heartland owner Gary Harpole said, “The scenic countryside of Pike and Calhoun counties, paired with our intricate lodging options, several on-site activities, recreation opportunities and local attractions create an unparalleled experience unlike anywhere else in the Midwest. We expect the Quail Ridge Cabin to boost local tourism and create more job opportunities within the community as outdoor recreation tourism continues to grow in popularity.”
The focus of acquiring this 2,500-square-foot cabin is expected to bring more tourists into the region on a year-round basis. Some people will invest in the communities by buying land, building their own cabins/homes and starting new businesses. The cabins will serve as a “home base” for vacationing guests.
An estimated 1,300 tourists are expected to stay at this cabin and inject more than an estimated $400,000 annually into the economy.
Heartland Lodge is hiring for several positions. Visit HeartlandLodge.com/Team for more information or call 217-734-2526.
