Lewis County Sheriff’s Department asking for help to find La Belle man wanted on domestic assault charge
La BELLE, Mo. — The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help from the public to locate a La Belle man wanted on a domestic assault charge.
Keyana Lee Strickland, 28, is wanted for domestic assault in the first degree, a Class A felony, and tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution, in connection with an assault in late December 2024. A Class A felony in Missouri carries a minimum sentence to the Missouri Department of Corrections of 10 years and a maximum sentence of 30 years or life in prison.
Strickland is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 280 pounds. He was last seen in the Hannibal area and is suspected to be in the St. Louis area. A press release from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department says Strickland knows he is wanted and is attempting to avoid law enforcement.
