Liberty Bank donates $20,000 to Adams County Bicentennial celebration

LIBERTY, Ill. — The Adams County Bicentennial Commission has announced that Liberty Bank has come aboard as a premier sponsor for the upcoming Bicentennial celebration in 2025.

“We are deeply grateful to have Liberty Bank join us as a premier sponsor for the Adams County Bicentennial,” said Chuck Scholz, Chair of the Bicentennial Commission. “Their generous support is an integral part of celebrating 200 years of Adams County’s history and achievements. We also appreciate Mark’s efforts as a member of our Bicentennial Commission as he will help us make sure we are celebrating every corner of Adams County throughout our year of festivities.”

Liberty Bank President and Chairman of the Board Mark Field presented the bank’s $20,000 to the committee last week.

“From our humble beginnings in one small facility in the rural Adams County town of Liberty to now serving five communities throughout Adams County and one in Pike County, Liberty Bank remains committed to the residents, farmers and businesses of this area and this area only.” Field said. “This Bicentennial celebration is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pay tribute to our ancestors who laid the groundwork for us to be so successful today, and to also look forward to the next 200 years of progress and prosperity for the awesome people of Adams County.”
