Lineup shuffled for Sounds of Motown concert set for Saturday at Oakley-Lindsay Center

QUINCY — The lineup has been rearranged for the Sounds of Motown concert on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Oakley-Lindsay Center.

G.C. Cameron, one of the original members of the Spinners, was scheduled to appear but cannot due to personal reasons.  He has been replaced by Motown legend Gerald Austin and The Manhattans. 

The Grammy Award-winning group had 16 top 100 hits, including two top 10s and a number one single, “Kiss and Say Goodbye”.

The Manhattans will join The Temptations Revue featuring Paul Williams Jr., the son of one of the original Temptations, Paul Williams. 

The Temptations had four No. 1 hits and 15 top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and 15 No. 1 hits on the Billboard R&B charts.

Also taking the stage will be Glenn Leonard and Joe Herndon, both long-term members of the Temptations.  Gregory Williams, one of the founding members of SWITCH, will also be in attendance.

Others performing will be Hollis Jae from Columbus, Ohio honoring Al Green and Otis Reading. C. Robert Walker will be singing the hits of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.

A Gladys Knight tribute will be performed by Chicago native Tricia Tribble. 

The Oakley-Lindsay Center is offering Meet-N-Greet tickets with the chance to meet some of the artists before the performance.
