Local non-profit offers $3,000 reward for information about death of Quincy woman who died in 2012

QUINCY — The “Friends of Justice,” a local non-profit organization, is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the death of Nancy Streitmatter.
The Quincy Fire Department responded to a fire at 219 Oak on Oct. 7, 2012. After the fire was extinguished, the fire department discovered human remains in one of the rooms of the building that the fire had consumed. Those remains were determined to be that of Nancy Streitmatter of Quincy and her death was determined to be a homicide.
The investigation has continued since the incident. Many leads have come in. We continue to ask for anyone with information to come forward.
The Quincy Police Department appreciates the commitment of “Friends of Justice” and organizations like the Quincy Regional Crimestoppers in bringing resolution to not only Miss Streitmatter and her family but the victims and families of all crimes.
