Macomb man arrested, charged with delivery of more than 400 grams of methamphetamine
MACOMB, Ill. — A Macomb man is in the McDonough County Jail after his methamphetamine-related arrest on Tuesday.
In a collaborative effort between the Macomb Police Department and the West Central Illinois Task Force, a search warrant was executed on Tuesday, March 12, at 440 N. Campbell. The joint investigation was based on the distribution of methamphetamine in Macomb/McDonough County area.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Eason Bishop, 38, of Macomb). He was charged with methamphetamine delivery of more than 400 grams, a Class X felony. He was detained at the McDonough County Jail awaiting a detention hearing. The investigation is ongoing. More arrests are anticipated.
The West Central Illinois Task Force and the Macomb Police Department were assisted by the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office and the McDonough County State’s Attorney’s Office.
