Man arrested for October shots fired incident
QUINCY — On Oct. 15, 2024, at about 6:50 a.m., officers with the Quincy Police Department responded to the 300 block of Elm Street in reference to a shots fired call. Detectives from the Quincy Police Department later arrived on scene and began assisting with the investigation. Nobody was injured during this incident.
On Thursday, officers with the Quincy Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and Detectives with the Quincy Police Department located and arrested James D Johnson, 33, of Quincy, in the 800 block of South 10th Street. Johnson was arrested and lodged in the Adams County Jail on charges of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.
