Man on probation after meth guilty plea arrested for stealing tools from Quincy Warehouse Bargains

QUINCY — Quincy Warehouse Bargains, 4100 N. 24th, reported Thursday a theft of tools to the Adams County Sheriff Office. Joshua L. Winfield was arrested at 6:41 p.m. Friday in Camp Point for burglary and theft over $500 after video was obtained by the Adams County Sheriff Department from the business. The video and photos were also circulated on social media.


Some of the stolen tools have been recovered.
Winfield, 42, is lodged in the Adams County Jail with no bond pending a court appearance. He was granted probation on May 3 following a guilty plea to a Class 3 Felony of possession of meth.
