Man attacked by dogs in South Park

QUINCY – On Sunday, Quincy Police officers were dispatched to a check the wellbeing of a man at South Park 1498 South 12th.

Upon arrival Officers found three dogs circling a male subject who was lying on the ground severely injured. An ambulance was summoned to the scene. The officers along with animal control were able to catch the dogs. They were impounded and transported to the animal shelter.

The male subject was transported to Blessing Hospital by Adams County EMS for severe injuries.

The owner of the dogs was located and issued citations for dog running at large and the procedure for declaration of vicious dog has been initiated.
