Maywood man stopped for driving without license charged with four felony drug offenses

La BELLE, Mo. — A Maywood man is facing four felony drug charges after he was arrested May 10.
Brandon N. Geiser, 50, was stopped by a Lewis County Sheriff’s Department deputy conducting a traffic stop in La Belle for driving without a valid license. The deputy was given permission to search the vehicle and found methamphetamine, psychedelic mushrooms and prescription medications in the vehicle.
Geiser was then arrested and lodged in the Lewis County Jail.
The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department sought official charges through Prosecuting Attorney Chelsea Fellinger, who applied for a warrant. Judge Corey Moon issued the warrant on May 11. Geisen was charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance, all Class D felonies; one count of operating a vehicle on a highway without a valid license, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia with a prior drug offense, a Class A misdemeanor.
Geiser was released on his own recognizance on May 13.
