Missouri governor to hold book signing event Tuesday at Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum will hold a book signing event featuring Missouri Gov. Mike Parson at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in the Mark Twain Museum Gallery Auditorium, 120 N. Main.
Parson will be signing copies of his biography, “No Turnin’ Back,” written by author Jim Jones.
“Gov. Parson’s signing couldn’t be held in a better place – a museum that explores a man’s lifetime pursuit of learning and speaking to the world through his writings,” Megan Rapp, executive director of The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum, said in a press release.
The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum is a historical landmark that preserves the legacy of one of America’s most beloved authors, Mark Twain. Its mission is to promote awareness and appreciation of the life and works of Mark Twain and to demonstrate the relevance of his stories to the citizens of the world. The museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and receives no local or state tax funding.
