Monroe City man arrested for driving while intoxicated in Marion County

MONROE CITY, Mo. — A Monroe City man was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and charged with first-offense driving while intoxicated involving alcohol.

Information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Paul A. Elliott, 36, was arrested at 9:42 p.m. on April 5 in Marion County. He also was charged with speeding, failure to maintain the right half of the road and consumption of alcohol while driving. Elliott was held at the Monroe City Police Department and later released.
