One person flown to Blessing Hospital after one-vehicle crash near Illinois 57, Interstate 172 intersection

MARBLEHEAD, Ill. — One person was flown to a local hospital with injuries after a one-vehicle crash Thursday late morning.

The Illinois State Police reported that troopers with Troop 6 are investigating a crash at the intersection of Illinois Route 57 and Interstate 172 that happened at approximately 11:51 a.m. Thursday, May 29. A press release from the Illinois State Police said the crash investigation is active, and no further information was available as of Thursday afternoon.

Bobby Tait with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department, who was at the scene of the accident, told Muddy River News the injured person was taken to Blessing Hospital by MedEvac.
