Ophthalmologist joins Blessing Health System
QUINCY — Ophthalmologist Dr. Senem Salar-Gomceli has joined Blessing Health System.
Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Salar-Gomceli completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus (crossed eyes) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed an internship in general surgery at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, in affiliation with Montefiore Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY.
Salar-Gomceli completed two ophthalmology residencies, one at the Bronxcare Health System, with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Bronx, NY, and one in her native country of Turkey where she earned her medical degree.
Her special interests include pediatric ophthalmology, cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid disorders and adult strabismus.
