Philadelphia man injured in Sunday morning motorcycle crash on Missouri Route 168

PALMYRA, Mo. — A Philadelphia, Mo., man suffered serious injuries early Sunday morning when his motorcycle struck a deer.

Warren W. Godfrey, 35, was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson eastbound on Missouri Route 168 when the motorcycle struck a deer at approximately 12:45 a.m. The motorcycle skidded off the right side of the road and came to rest.

Godfrey was transported by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and the Palmyra Fire Department.
