PONTOOSUC, Ill. — A Pontoosuc man was arrested earlier this month in connection to an incident involving a stolen four-wheeler.

A 2011 Yamaha 450 Grizzly was reported stolen on April 11 in Pontoosuc. Deputies with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department investigated the incident, identifying 54-year-old Jamie S. Lillie as a suspect and learning details about where the stolen four-wheeler was located in Niota. The owner and deputies eventually recovered the four-wheeler.

An arrest warrant was issued for Lillie, and he was subsequently arrested at 6 p.m. April 16. He was charged with unlawful possession of stolen property. He posted the required bond and was released.

A press release from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department indicated further charges may be forthcoming in this matter.
