QPD issues 11 citations for consumption of alcohol by minor, find two fake IDs on Friday at Cedar Club

QUINCY — Officers with the Quincy Police Department issued multiple citations to minors at The Cedar Club, 2001 Cedar, on Friday.

Officers conducted a tavern check at 11:55 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24 at the Cedar Club to identify minors consuming alcohol and or possessing fictitious identifications. Officers issued 11 citations for consumption of alcohol by a minor at the establishment and located two fictitious identifications.  The subjects ranged in age from 17 to 20 years of age. 

All subjects were cited and released. A press release from the Quincy Police Department reported other establishments were checked with no violations. The tavern checks are in response to complaints regarding underage consumption of alcohol in liquor establishments within the city.
