QPD responds to shots fired call on city’s south side
QUINCY — Quincy Police Department officers responded at around 11:15 p.m. Monday to the report of a shots fired call in the 700 block of South 14th, and an officer located a single shell casing on the scene.
During the investigation, officers interviewed several people who reportedly heard only one gunshot. No injuries were reported.
Officers are reviewing video surveillance and collecting evidence. The investigation is ongoing. Preliminary information suggests that this was not a random act of violence.
