Quincy man arrested for attempted burglary of southside home early Friday morning

QUINCY — A Quincy man was arrested during a burglary attempt and was charged with several other offenses Friday morning.

Quincy Police Department officers were dispatched at 5:52 a.m. Friday to a burglary in progress at a residence in the 1100 block of Madison. Officers located and arrested Terron Saltzman, 25, of 1628 Broadway for criminal trespass to a residence.

Saltzman also is charged for being an armed habitual criminal, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a controlled substance. He was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
