Quincy man arrested for child porn

QUINCY — Quincy Police arrested a man earlier this week for possessing child pornography on his social media accounts.

QPD began investigating Cooper Davis, 23, of 3421 Lawrence Road in June. On Tuesday, officers executed a search warrant and took Davis into custody. Police also confiscated numerous electronic devices from the home.

Davis was lodged in the Adams County Jail and appeared on court Thursday, where he was charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography. His bond was set at $50,000.

According to a QPD news release, there is no evidence at this time that any local children were involved.
