Quincy man arrested for failing to register and report as a sex offender

QUINCY — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Quincy man Tuesday for failing to register and report as a sex offender.
Deputies arrested Dalton E. Stockdale, 27, who lives in the 2200 block of Rainbow Road, was arrested around 3 p.m. Tuesday at his place of employment. An investigation concluded Stockdale had been living at his residence for several months without registering and had also failed to notify authorities when he changed jobs. Illinois law requires that registered sex offenders report such changes within three days.
Stockdale was lodged in the Adams County Jail. He was on pre-trial release for a previous sex offender registration violation.
