QUINCY — Quincy Police have arrested a man who they believe may have stolen a trailer, a pickup truck and a U-Haul dolly last month.

On May 24, QPD received a report of a 16 foot trailer stolen from the 2300 block on North 12th. Then on May 29, a report was made of a 1993 Dodge Dakota that was stolen from the Quincy Fire Department Training Ceneer at North 18th and Seminary Road. During the same time frame, an investigation was also being conducted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department in reference to a stolen U-Haul car dolly from the 6600 block of Broadway.

Quincy Police were able to locate the stolen Dodge in Lewis County, Mo. and the U-Haul dolly was located in Marion County, Mo. The 16 foot tilt trailer still has not been located.

Quincy police arrested Kyle Kuhlmeier, 41 of Quincy on June 3 for the offense of possession of a stolen vehicle, and for theft over $500 for both trailers. He is currently lodged at the Adams County Jail.

QPD is asking for the public’s help in trying to locate the stolen trailer, which is believed to be in Missouri.
