Quincy man arrested in connection to report of gunfire Saturday night

QUINCY — A Quincy man was arrested Monday in connection to a report of gunfire on Saturday in the 600 block of Washington.

Quincy Police responded at 11:05 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16 to the 600 block of Washington for a report of gunfire and a disturbance. No victims were found, and no injuries were reported.  Officers spoke to witnesses and reviewed surveillance video footage. Officers continued the investigation through the weekend and obtained a search warrant for Michael Milsap, as well as Milsap’s residence in the 600 block of Washington. 

The search warrant was executed on Monday. During the search, officers recovered a handgun.  Milsap was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. He is lodged in the Adams County Jail.
