Quincy man facing eight counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse after March 8 arrest

QUINCY — A Quincy man is in the Adams County Jail after his arrest and faces eight counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

A Quincy juvenile reported on Aug. 1, 2023, possible sexual abuse by Justin T. Snow, 36, of the 1800 block of Koch’s Lane in Quincy.  The juvenile was later interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center in Quincy. Arrest warrants were issued on Feb. 21, and Snow was arrested on these warrants in the 700 block of Jackson on March 8 by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department. 

Snow made his first appearance with Quincy attorney Dennis Woodworth on March 19. His arraignment is scheduled for April 2 before Judge Tad Brenner.

Snow has been charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a person under the age of 18, and that person is a family member. If found guilty by a jury, Snow could receive between four and 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on each charge.

Snow also has been charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a person under the age of 13. If found guilty by a jury, Snow could receive between three and seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on each charge.

The charges allegedly stem from incidents on April 1 and July 29, 2023.
