Quincy man injured in motorcycle accident Tuesday morning on Gardner Expressway

QUINCY — A Quincy man was injured in a motorcycle accident Tuesday morning on Gardner Expressway.

Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department responded at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, to a traffic crash. They learned a 2020 Dodge Ram truck driven by Jason Keller, 44, of Quincy turned southbound onto Gardner Expressway from S. Eighth Street in front of a northbound 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Christian Dade, 32.

Dade sustained minor injuries and was transported to Blessing Hospital by ambulance. He was not wearing a helmet. A press release from the Adams County Sheriff’s Department said citations are pending further investigation. 

Agencies assisting at the scene were the Tri-Township Fire Department and Adams County Ambulance Department.
