Quincy man injured in single-vehicle rollover accident near Ursa on Saturday

URSA, Ill. — A Quincy man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Saturday night near Ursa.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Department responded at 6:38 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, to the report of a vehicle rollover in the area of Illinois Route 96 and N. 2650th Avenue.
Blake Duesterhaus, 35, of Quincy was driving a 2003 Chevy 1500 when he failed to reduce speed while navigating a turn. His vehicle rolled and came to rest southeast of the road in a ditch. Minor injuries were reported. Duesterhaus was cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Adams County Ambulance, Lima Fire Department and Mendon Rescue assisted at the scene.
